Rezillient Gold Expedition on Dartmoor 24th – 27th July 2017.

We were the assessors for three Gold DofE teams from Rezillient based in Warwickshire.

We met the leaders and 3 teams on the Sunday night and were already impressed with the planning and communication.

Andy Bacon, the Director of Rezillient and also the main Supervisor was excellent both in his supervision which was just at the right level between remoteness and caring, as were the other leaders, Lexi, Dave and Mark. They had a really good set up and as the teams were really spread out kept us well informed of progress as we did the same for them.

The 3 teams were excellent. Their bonding and spirit were amazing. Navigation good on the whole and were able to readjust to any minor errors made. Campcraft also was good, all looking after each other and putting in their fair share of the work.

We both thought that Rezillient was one of the best units we had assessed for.

Not 100% will pick up this message sorry!!  But to Andy and the rest of the team, thanks for everything you did over my bronze, silver & gold Awards!!!
I couldn't have done it without you and I am collecting my gold award at Holyrood Palace this coming week (presentation)) scary times !! Thanks,

Rezilient replied: It was a pleasure. I will email it to all the Leaders. What about coming back as a leader in the future

Hi (Bronze practice expedition)

As a parent, can you please pass on my thanks to all the lovely volunteers who gave up their weekend for the children.

Walking and camping fill me with horror, but I'm very grateful to those who give up their time so the children can experience this.

Thank you for all your hard work and making this whole process a beautiful and exciting experience for my daughter and her team.

Many thanks for the feedback and fantastic work done by yourself and volunteers, my daughter really enjoyed her practice expedition.

I just wanted to say a big “Thank you” for all your help and hard work over the weekend.  My daughter had a great time, which was a surprise to all as she is not that keen on walking and likes her sleep, especially on a weekend!   Looking forward to the next one!

Just wanted to say thank you to you and all the other volunteers for using your time to help us out with our DofE, I can't wait for July.   Thanks again;

2016 Bronze Assessed:  Andy, thank you from my son for a fantastic weekend on Long Mynd.

Thanks to the great staff who make it all happen. Exhausted daughter but huge sense of achievement

The girls loved their assessment weekend - a good sign I have to say!  Thanks very much to all the team for superb organisation.

See you soon (or 'anon' will!)

All the best (anon parent)

Thanks for all your help.  They have been very complimentary about you - you have made the whole thing more enjoyable.  As instructed, I (yes, I) will be airing the tent out tomorrow.  See you on Thursday evening.

Regards, (anon parent) .
